Mohair is a yarn made from the hair of Angora goats, known for its exceptional softness, sheen and durability. Mohair is hypoallergenic and provides excellent insulation. The yarn is strong and hard-wearing, so sweaters retain their beauty and shape for a long time. Nakoa’s mohair garments are made in Turkey from high-quality Italian yarn. Like wool fibers in general, a new mohair sweater may shed a little. Regular gentle brushing removes excess fibers from the material, reducing shedding.
