Mohair is a yarn made from the hair of Angora goats, known for its exceptional softness, sheen and durability. Mohair is hypoallergenic and provides excellent insulation. The yarn is strong and hard-wearing, so knitwear retains its beauty and shape for a long time. Nakoa’s mohair products are made in Turkey using high-quality Italian yarn. Like wool fibres generally, a new mohair knit may shed a little. Regular gentle brushing removes excess fibres from the material, reducing shedding.
Color family: A lovely green with a slightly bluish undertone. A beautiful color for winters and dark-featured summers.
