Merino wool is a high-quality natural fiber from merino sheep, known for its softness, breathability and thermoregulation. Merino wool does not itch like traditional wool, and is naturally antibacterial and odor-resistant, making it an excellent choice for year-round use. The merino wool used by Nakoa comes from Italy, and the knitwear is manufactured in Turkey. The yarn is mulesing-free and carries the RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) certification, which guarantees responsible production. Our knitting factory is BSCI and SEDEX members, which ensures a socially responsible manufacturing process.
